Cheryl Ford is an active pastor's wife, speaker, and the mother of two in addition to her work as an author. Her first book, The Pilgrim's Progress: Faithfully Retold in Modern English, won a Gold Medallion Award from the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association. She lives with her husband in California.
A bit about me and a LOT about God:
Following an unhappy childhood and several years as an atheist in college, God in His mercy revealed Himself to me. I gave my heart to Jesus Christ at the age of 22 and have never looked back. From that moment everything changed. Of course, that's not to say that life has always been easy or made sense. But I’ve learned from personal experience that God is a loving Father who delights in keeping His promises to His children. He has made and continues to make something beautiful of my life.
I live in Southern CA where I am privileged to serve in pastoral ministry alongside my husband Clay. God has blessed me with a wonderful family. Our son Billy (along with his wife Denise) pastors a church, and our daughter Hannah is in fulltime ministry as a singer/songwriter and faith missionary. Occasionally, I speak at retreats and conferences. To God be the glory!
